The main idea on "grit," explained by Angela Duckworth is that you don’t have to be extremely smart to end up successful according to Angela, grit is basically dedicated passion and ongoing persistence and determination towards long term goals without any specific consideration of what rewards or recognition you’ll receive along the way. Grit is the passion of wanting to achieve goals that take months, years, or even decades, it combines determination, ambition, and self control.
